Infor Promotes Daan Snijders to Vice President Corporate Product Management


Daan Snijders, Infor20-Year Product Management Veteran Now Responsible for Creating Common User Experience Across Infor Applications

Infor, the leading provider of business software for mid-market companies, today announced that Daan Snijders has been named Vice President Corporate Product Management. He reports directly to Soma Somasundaram, SVP global product development at Infor. Snijders will head up a newly established organization within the Infor worldwide development team, while assuming responsibility for providing the sales teams with tools to capitalize on new product developments.


  • In his new role, Snijders now leads a team of product managers focused on creating a common user experience across Infor applications leveraging Infor ION for integration and cross-application business process management.
  • Snijders and his team are also responsible for more closely aligning Infor and Microsoft technologies, the company’s mobile and cloud strategies, and global coordination of solution releases, including software translation and localization.
  • Snijders brings more than 20 years of experience in product management to his new position. He officially joined Infor in 2006 during the acquisition of SSA Global. However, he has been responsible for the predecessor of Infor’s flagship product, Baan, for much longer, as he started his product management career at Baan in 1995.
  • After Baan was acquired by SSA Global in 2003, Snijders became vice president of Solutions Management Applications. In this role he was responsible for solution strategy, direction and developing product roadmaps for the company’s ERP, SCM, CRM, PLM and F&HCM product lines.
