Art exhibition displays over 200 artworks until 5th July

Over 200 art works on display at the Riverside Business Centre in Tinahely, County Wicklow, will be auctioned at the gallery on Thursday 5th July. The art exhibition features works by Irish and international artists and can be seen free of charge at the Riverside Business Centre in Tinahely from 8am until 8pm, seven days a week.


The art exhibition at RiversideArtGalleryincludes a variety of styles and materials, including paintings in oil and acrylics, watercolours and prints. The artwork will be on display until Thursday 5th July at 7,30pm, when the exhibition pieces will be auctioned.


TheRiversideArtGallerywas officially opened in April with the aim of hosting art exhibitions on a regular basis, as well as running art auctions several times per year.


The current exhibition features artworks by many Irish artists, including 21 works by Noel Lewis and pieces by Rob Teeling, John Gerald Keogh, equestrian artist Gillian Blinchy and local artists Senan O’Brien and Hilary Jacob; as well as pieces by Mary Swanzy, Markey Robinson, Thos. Gainsborough, W.B. Yates and Paul Henry prints, George Callaghan and T. Spelman

“We have a great collection so we’d like to encourage everybody to come to the gallery and have a look around at the art work on display,” says John Kane from the Riverside Art Gallery. “We have ten Margaret Fisher Prout works for auction with a reserve or €175 each. Similar works of hers are selling in the UK for from £600 to £1500, so we have great pieces up for sale and for the auction.”
